El imagen del hombre que esta arriba es un hombre fenomenal. Quien es? Pues es Robert Crumb, sin duda uno de los dibujantes que más ha influido a otros dibujantes en la manera de hacer cómics y está considerado como uno de los principales precursores del denominado cómic "underground". Además de servir como inspiración para varias generaciones de autores que han crecido leyendo sus obras y que en la actualidad forman parte del movimiento denominado cómic alternativo.
Este hombre me ha inspirado desde que era chico, me acuerdo cuando me encontre con un libro de los maestros de los artistas del comic que era de mi Papa me encontre cara a cara con sus trabajos que me cautivaron y luego influenciaron mi estilo de hacer comic. TRAU

Trau is a comic that I have been working on, lets say 4 years ago, its a personal project. Trau is a type of alter ego of myself, a blotted version of the good, the bad and the worst of my own persona...let me tell you its been a good way of self perspective and get a good chance to laugh at myself and take a crap on what I dislike. Trau has been defined befoe as an "Anti Hero", "A centered chaotic" (whatever that means), "An educated fool" etc.
Its story is a compilation of things that have happened to me and have been weaved toegether to create a story.

Well, with the above statement you can say that it would not help you in many situations, for example: use "I once played in a black metal band" while meeting women in a bar: or even "I once played in a black metal band" to the parents of the girl you ended up meeting: yet again "I once played in a black metal band" at a job interview.
Well you can laugh all you want...truly, you can stop now. Now, the time has come to tell you guys, "I once played in a black metal band", a very good Chilean band called Hetroertzen (www.hetroertzen.com) I had the time of my life. We toured parts of Chile during 2003 (Valparaiso, Valdivia, Concepcion, Puerto Varas etc.) Staying at cheap hotels, cheap transport (one bus caught on fire and the other leaked urine on my backpack) and getting payed nothing, true rock n roll expirience. Many people don´t really understand why dressing up in leather, make up, blood and ear ripping music can attract people...and it is a good question that I have not been able to give myself a reasonable answer after more than 15 years listening to heavy stuff...the only thing that I can say is that it feels right.
